Master of 1-course of our department participated in the 86th Congress of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS)
Master of 1-course of our department Rakhmonov Durbek, from May 5 to 8 participated in the 86th Congress of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS), in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.
The Congress was held in the halls of the Congress Center of Lisbon.
During the meeting, recent studies in the field of mechanisms, diagnostics and treatment of atherosclerosis and associated vascular diseases were reviewed. And it really was the place where you could find an overview of the latest ongoing research in this area. It is not for nothing that all the participants were inspired by outstanding lectures on the main reports, modern plenary sessions and purposeful seminars and extended clinical seminars of the world’s leading experts in this field, such as:
Lale Tokgozoglu, President of the EAS, Turkey, with a presentation on “Risk Factors and Projections for Cardiovascular Disease”.
Both the clinicians and key researchers participated in the EAS Congress for interdisciplinary exchange at a high level. After all, in the European atherosclerosis society, everyone is firmly convinced that a personal meeting – the presentation and discussion of work with others, as well as the search for ideas from the work of others – is the key to progress in science. And it was for this reason that the society called for questions and ideas to be shared during the sessions “Science at a Glance” and “Poster”.
Our master after he fulfilled all the requirements of the society, was invited and delivered a poster report on the topic: “Predictors of improving the contractile function of the left ventricle in patients with myocardial infarction.”
It should be noted that this report was of interest to many participants. And one of them was the candidate of medical sciences Nazarenko Maria Sergeevna, the head of the laboratory of population genetics of the scientific research institute of medical genetics of Tomsk SRMI. She was very interested in our department and carried out scientific works and showed a desire for further cooperation between Tomsk SRMI and our Academy.
