AssistantB.T. Khalmukhamedov participated in the medical internship program in the specialty “Cardiology”in the clinic of ANSAN at the Medical Center of Koryo University, in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
From 19 August to 14 September 2018, Assistant B.T. Khalmukhamedov participated in the medical internship program in the specialty “Cardiology”, in the direction “Interventional Cardiology” under the guidance of instructor – Professor Lim San Yop in the clinic of ANSAN at the Medical Center of Koryo University, in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. During his internship, he worked in the Cardiovascular Laboratory and Coronaroangiography. Participated in the practical manipulations as coronary stenting, angioplasty, staging of temporary and permanent pacemaker, stenting of the pulmonary artery, the diagnostic kardiocentezis, assay pericardial effusion, electrophysiological examination of the heart and ablation of accessory pathways of the heart, the interpretation of CT scans of the coronary arteries, transesophageal echocardiography, Holter ECG monitoring, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, Treadmil exercise test. In addition, he participated in rounds of patients in the cardiology, cardiac surgery, intensive care and emergency wards. Attended the conference on endovascular and coronary revascularization – “Encore Seoul”. At the end of the internship, all participants were awarded certificates of completion.
